Better late than never….

I started this blog in 2017, but life took over and I didn’t make much progress.  I read the original blogs I posted in 2017.  They remind me of how far I have come and far I have to go.  I am a frazzled, trying to find my way 52-year-old grandma raising a 6-year-old GS.  I consider him my bonus for all of the craziness my 31-year-old daughter has put our family through.  Not to say, that raising a 6-year-old and dealing with menopause makes an ideal, super fun situation.  There are days I just want to run away screaming like my hair is on fire.  In spite of the challenges life has thrown at our family we are surviving, we are stronger and if the stars align things will just keep getting better.   Our family consists of me, my husband of 35 years, our 31-year-old daughter, 6-year-old grandson, two cats and an aquarium full of fish.  Our neighbor’s cat is trying to get us to adopt her, but so far we have resisted.  We are busy with work, soccer, Boy Scouts and trying to figure out what to do with our 150 acres of land.  Life keeps us busy!  Looking forward to sharing our adventures with everyone!
